About the Company
Viju Industries Nigeria Limited is a leading beverage manufacturing company in Nigeria, with a strong presence in the pure water production industry. The company is looking to hire an experienced and highly professional Personnel Manager (HR & Security Manager) to oversee both human resources operations and factory security management.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining an efficient workforce while ensuring the safety and security of the factory environment.
Job Responsibilities
Human Resources Management
- Oversee end-to-end factory HR operations, including recruitment, attendance management, payroll administration, and employee relations.
- Manage staff employment contracts and ensure compliance with Nigerian Labour Laws.
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary procedures, and promote a positive workplace culture.
- Work closely with management to implement HR policies and coordinate performance appraisal processes.
Factory Security Management
- Develop, implement, and monitor factory security procedures and emergency response plans.
- Supervise factory security personnel, including both in-house guards and outsourced security providers.
- Conduct routine safety inspections, risk assessments, and investigations into security or safety incidents.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), and other relevant security agencies to reduce external security risks.
Requirements
Applicants should possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Security Management, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of proven experience in both Human Resources and Security/Safety Management, preferably within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- Relevant professional certifications such as NISLT, ISPON, OSHA, NEBOSH, or equivalent HSE/Security certifications.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication abilities.
- Demonstrated experience handling labour disputes and managing factory security challenges effectively.
Salary
- ₦300,000 – ₦400,000 per month
