The Emmanuel Igbinovia Foundation is inviting interested participants to join a free skill acquisition and livelihood support program designed to help survivors gain practical skills that can support their personal and economic development.

The training will provide participants with hands-on learning in areas including catering, gele tying, graphic design, video editing, and social media management.

The programme is scheduled to take place from 1st to 3rd September 2026 in Shomolu, Lagos.

For individuals looking to learn a practical skill, explore self-employment opportunities, or strengthen their existing abilities, the programme provides an opportunity to gain useful skills at no cost.

Catering

Learn practical catering and food preparation skills that can be developed into a small business or income-generating venture.

Gele Tying

Participants will learn the fundamentals of gele styling and techniques that can be applied for personal use or professional beauty services.

Graphic Design

Participants will be introduced to graphic design and visual communication, useful skills for businesses, organisations, and personal brands.

Video Editing

The training will help participants develop practical video editing skills for digital content, social media, marketing, and storytelling.

Social Media Management

Participants can learn how to manage social media platforms, create digital content, and support businesses or organizations with their online presence.

Start Up Kit for Selected Participants

Start-up kits will be given to selected participants with entrepreneurial qualities, at the end of the training to help them kick start their enterprise.
