Emmanuel Igbinovia Foundation is a registered non-profit organisation committed to creating opportunities for vulnerable children, women, and underserved communities through education, economic empowerment, health, research, and community development initiatives.
We are looking for a highly organised, proactive, and creative Operations Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of the Foundation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, managing multiple responsibilities, learning new skills, and contributing to meaningful social impact.
The successful candidate will work closely with the leadership team to support programme implementation, organisational operations, communications, research, events, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
The Operations Assistant will be responsible for:
- Supporting the planning, coordination, and implementation of the Foundation’s programmes and activities.
- Providing day-to-day administrative and operational support.
- Conducting online research for projects, grants, partnerships, and organisational development.
- Preparing reports, meeting minutes, presentations, and other organisational documents.
- Creating basic graphics, flyers, and digital content using Canva or Pixellab.
- Assisting with the management of the Foundation’s social media platforms, including content creation and scheduling.
- Capturing photos and videos during programmes and events and assisting with basic multimedia editing.
- Coordinating meetings, trainings, workshops, and community outreach activities.
- Managing calendars, reminders, and follow-up tasks to ensure deadlines are met.
- Liaising with partners, volunteers, vendors, consultants, and community stakeholders.
- Supporting monitoring, evaluation, documentation, and data collection.
- Maintaining organised digital and physical records.
- Carrying out any other operational duties assigned by management.
Requirements
Applicants should:
- Possess a minimum of OND qualification.
- Reside in Lagos State and be willing to travel within Lagos when required.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrate strong organisational and time management abilities.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Have basic graphic design skills using Canva or Pixellab.
- Have experience managing social media platforms or creating digital content.
- Possess good research, writing, and documentation skills.
- Have basic photography, videography, or video editing skills (an added advantage).
- Be able to work independently, take initiative, and solve problems with minimal supervision.
- Previous experience working with an NGO, social enterprise, or community-based organisation will be an added advantage.
