Are you a young Australian aged 12–18 passionate about tech, online safety, and digital culture?

The 2026 Youth Advisory Council, powered by the Telstra Foundation and PROJECT ROCKIT, is officially open for applications — and this could be your chance to influence the future of the digital world.

This is more than just a council. It’s a paid opportunity to use your voice, creativity, and lived experience to help shape projects that impact young people across Australia.

💡 Why Apply for the 2026 Youth Advisory Council?

Selected members (up to 24 young people nationwide) will:

✨ Share their perspectives on technology, online safety, and digital wellbeing
✨ Influence real programs used by young Australians
✨ Create content and contribute to youth research
✨ Participate in national events and workshops
✨ Connect with creative, passionate peers from across Australia
✨ Earn $40 per hour for their time and expertise

This is a unique opportunity to build leadership skills, boost your CV, and contribute meaningfully to Australia’s digital culture conversation.

🎥 How to Apply

The application process is simple:

You will need to submit a video no longer than 3 minutes. It doesn’t need to be professionally produced—just a simple recording of you speaking directly to the camera and answering the questions on their website.

📹 Submit the short video (no professional setup required)
📅 Deadline: 23 February 2026

If you care about making the internet safer, more inclusive, and more empowering for young people — this is your moment.
