Applications are now officially open for the 2026 Elevate Africa Fellowship, a prestigious leadership development program designed to empower Africa’s next generation of transformational leaders.

The Elevate Africa Fellowship 2026 is currently accepting applications for its second cohort. This highly competitive 10-month hybrid leadership programme targets outstanding mid-career professionals with a proven track record of impact who are passionate about driving sustainable development and innovation across Africa.

About the Elevate Africa Fellowship

The fellowship combines virtual learning, expert mentorship, executive coaching, and in-person immersions across key African cities. Participants gain advanced leadership skills, strategic thinking capabilities, and access to a powerful pan-African professional network.

This program is ideal for professionals seeking to scale their influence, expand cross-border collaborations, and contribute meaningfully to Africa’s social and economic transformation.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the Elevate Africa Fellowship 2026, applicants must:

  • Have a minimum of 10 years of professional work experience with measurable impact
  • Demonstrate strong leadership ability and pan-African commitment
  • Possess a reliable internet connection for virtual sessions
  • Be fully available for the duration of the fellowship program

Program Commitment & Schedule

Fellows are expected to:

  • Attend a virtual onboarding session in March 2026
  • Participate fully in all learning sessions, mentorship programs, coaching, capstone projects, and thought leadership activities from March to November 2026
  • Attend three in-person immersion programs:
    • May 2026 – Kigali, Rwanda
    • August 2026 – Nigeria
    • Late October / Early November 2026 – Location to be announced
  • Cover personal travel costs for physical immersions (limited scholarships may be available)
  • Actively engage with fellow participants and the alumni community
