About the ICMM Young Leaders Scholarship 2026
The International Council on Mining and Metals (ICMM), in partnership with One Young World, is seeking outstanding young leaders committed to sustainability and responsible development.
The scholarship aims to support young people making measurable contributions in areas such as biodiversity conservation, decarbonisation, social performance, and sustainable resource production.
Successful applicants will participate in the One Young World Summit 2026 taking place in Cape Town from November 3 to November 6, 2026.

Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the ICMM Young Leaders Scholarship 2026, applicants must:
- Be between 18 and 35 years old at the time of the summit
- Demonstrate leadership potential and a commitment to positive change
- Be leading impactful initiatives, projects, or professional work related to sustainability
- Show proven impact in at least one of the following areas:
