Apply for the fully funded Mastercard Foundation Scholarship 2026 at Arizona State University. This fully funded opportunity supports part-time, fully online graduate certificate programmes designed for emerging African leaders who are ready to drive meaningful social and economic change.

🌍 Scholarship Overview

The Mastercard Foundation, in collaboration with Arizona State University (ASU), is offering fully funded scholarships for graduate certificate programmes focused on:

  • Global Management
  • Supply Chain Management

Beyond earning a graduate certificate, participants who successfully complete the programme are automatically considered for a fully funded online master’s degree, creating a powerful academic and professional progression pathway.

This is not just a scholarship — it’s a leadership development pipeline for Africa’s future innovators and changemakers.

📚 Available Graduate Certificate Programmes

Scholarships are available for the following part-time, fully online programmes at ASU:

• Graduate Certificate in Foundations of Supply Chain Management
• Graduate Certificate in Global Management, Entrepreneurship and Innovation

These flexible programmes allow participants to study alongside professional or community commitments while building globally relevant expertise.


✅ Eligibility Criteria

To qualify, applicants must:

  • Be a citizen of an African country
  • Demonstrate commitment to ethical leadership and community engagement
  • Be between 18 and 33 years old by the application deadline
  • Show strong academic ability and financial need
  • Have completed an undergraduate degree by July 2026
  • Not hold or be enrolled in a master’s degree before or during the programme

💰 Value of the Scholarship

The Mastercard Foundation Innovation and Technology Scholarship provides comprehensive support, including:

Additionally, a select number of scholars will receive a fully funded online master’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Leadership Management after successful completion of the certificate.
