International Women’s Rights Action Watch (IWRAW) Asia Pacific is recruiting a Programme Officer for Capacity Building. This is a 100% fully remote position, allowing professionals from Nigeria and other parts of the world to contribute to international women’s rights from their home countries. The role focuses on strengthening the capacity of women’s rights activists and organizations to engage with international human rights mechanisms, such as CEDAW. It is an ideal opportunity for those passionate about feminist advocacy and systemic change on a global scale.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this remote role, candidates must meet the following:

  • A university degree in law, international relations, gender studies, or a related social science field.
  • Minimum of three to five years of experience in human rights advocacy or capacity building.
  • Strong understanding of feminist movements and international human rights frameworks.
  • Proven ability to work independently in a remote, multicultural environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
