The Role: Communications Manager (Global Industry Hub)
This position plays a critical role in shaping global narratives around heavy industry decarbonization — one of the most complex and high-emissions sectors in the global economy.
Location
- Remote (Australia-based)
- Occasional travel across regional hubs
Website Leadership & Digital Strategy
You will:
- Lead end-to-end management of GIH’s global website
- Oversee CMS administration, UX coordination, and content governance
- Optimize SEO and search visibility
- Monitor analytics and implement performance improvements
- Support localization across Asia, Europe, and the Americas
This is a hands-on digital leadership role requiring strong CMS and analytics capabilities.
Social Media & Brand Visibility
- Manage and grow GIH’s LinkedIn presence
- Build brand visibility among government, industry, and philanthropic stakeholders
- Track engagement metrics and optimize strategy
Experience scaling LinkedIn engagement in B2B or policy ecosystems is essential.
Content Creation & Editorial Leadership
You’ll produce and oversee high-quality content such as:
- Web copy
- Blog posts
- Policy reports
- Infographics
- Videos
- Newsletters
- Partner profiles
You’ll also:
- Maintain a strategic editorial calendar
- Ensure consistency in voice, tone, and visual identity
- Translate complex decarbonization themes into compelling narratives
Performance & Stakeholder Coordination
- Monitor KPIs using tools like Google Analytics and LinkedIn Analytics
- Report on digital performance
- Recommend optimization strategies
- Manage digital agencies or external vendors
- Ensure compliance with brand, accessibility, privacy, and security standards
Required Qualifications
Candidates should demonstrate:
- 5–7 years’ experience in communications, digital content, or marketing
- Strong B2B marketing and website management background
- Proven CMS, SEO, and analytics expertise
- Experience managing LinkedIn growth
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong project and stakeholder management capabilities
- Experience working across global teams and time zones
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, digital media, or related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in climate policy, sustainability, heavy industry, or clean technology
- Experience working with philanthropic or government organizations
- Familiarity with CRM systems or marketing automation platforms
- Ability to travel occasionally
