Residency Requirement

Applicants must have lived in one or more eligible countries for at least five of the last ten years.

Age Requirements

Candidates must satisfy one of the following categories:

  • Aged 18–24 on 1 October 2026
  • Aged 18–25 on 1 October 2026 for certain professional programmes
  • Under 27 on 1 October 2026 and completed their first undergraduate degree on or after 1 October 2025

Academic Qualification

Applicants must have completed an undergraduate degree before the application deadline and achieved:

  • A First Class Honours degree or equivalent

For Medicine, Dentistry, and Pharmacy graduates, the highest academic classification awarded by their institution may be considered equivalent.

Scholarship Benefits

The Rhodes Scholarship is fully funded and covers major study expenses at Oxford.
