MultiChoice Talent Factory 2026: Fully Funded Film School

The MultiChoice Talent Factory (MTF) Academy is a premier 12-month, fully funded film and television training program designed to ignite the next generation of African storytellers. With regional hubs in Lagos (West Africa), Nairobi (East Africa), and Lusaka (Southern Africa), the academy provides aspiring filmmakers with hands-on experience and professional mentorship. For Nigerians and other African creatives, this is a unique gateway to master the art of cinematography, editing, and production under the guidance of industry veterans.

Eligibility

  • Applicants must be citizens of and residents in the participating countries (e.g., Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Ethiopia, Zambia, South Africa, etc.).
  • Candidates must be 18 years of age or older at the time of application.
  • Applicants must possess a post-secondary qualification from a recognized institution (diploma or degree).
  • Candidates must demonstrate a passion for the film and television industry through a portfolio or previous creative work.
  • Must be fluent in English and available for the full 12-month residential program.

  2. Upload your CV and academic certificates.
  3. Provide a portfolio of work or a link to a showreel demonstrating your creative skills.
  4. Write a short essay explaining why you should be selected for the 2026 cohort.
  5. Submit the application and await notification for the interview stage.
